HiKESHi SPiRiT

A kimono-style two-piece set created in collaboration with the creative collective HESO [https://heso-cha.com]. While featuring a dragon motif, the design is drawn with HESO's signature soft touch. It exudes a distinct Japanese aesthetic ("Wa") while maintaining an atmosphere that effortlessly blends into everyday wear. We had the textile manufacturer "Maruman" weave this design pattern into a jacquard fabric, resulting in an exceptional, premium fabric that is luxurious, yet incredibly lightweight and soft. As a subtle accent, a touch of metallic thread is woven in, making it glimmer in places like dragon scales when you look closely. Because it is a matching set featuring a samue (traditional wrap top) and high-waisted pants, the pieces can naturally be worn separately. When worn together, simply close the samue and tuck just the slit front portion into the pants, and it is designed to instantly look like a kimono.

「鯉躍龍門（りぎょく・りゅうもん）」とは、中国の伝説に由来し、困難な試練を乗り越えて立身出世や大成功を収めることを意味する故事成語で、日本語の「登竜門」と同じ意味合いを持ち、「鯉の滝登り」とも呼ばれる。
