BAKIBAKI TEE

“Yodokabe Hikeshi” is a project by Yodokabe Project and HiKESHi SPiRiT to reinterpret the ‘Hanten’ jacket. This T-shirt was designed and redefined in accordance with the “Hanten” etiquette established by BAKIBAKI (@bakibaking), the project’s representative.
The “Yatagarasu” design features a flock print that creates a three-dimensional, textured effect. The BAKI pattern is accented with silver foil to create a luxurious feel.

Title: BAKIGARAS

Concept:
Built around the Yatagarasu — the guiding deity of Japanese mythology — this piece overlays that motif with the spirit of Yodokabe, a project leading the way for Japan’s mural culture.

Intricate yet dynamic embroidery is driven into luxurious satin. Bearing the sun, the Yatagarasu, and the emblematic BAKI pattern across the back, it is a “modern haori” where the rebellious edge of the sukajan intersects with traditional beauty. It updates the hanten, a Japanese tradition, into contemporary streetwear, bringing a fresh sense of exhilaration to everyday life.
