The maru is a circle drawn with strong lines and the word "Kakeshi" (fire extinguisher) in Edo script sitting sturdily in the center.
The daimon is a mark that represents oneself, the pride of the group or organization to which one belongs.
It is a symbol of those who have taken on the mission of extinguishing fires. This is where the spirit and life of the fire extinguisher resides.
Bassen discharge is a traditional printing technique, which bleaches the fabric with glue containing a decoloring agent. The colors come out with a unique texture that cannot be produced by ordinary printing.
*Slab material is a fabric that is woven by knitting a thread called slab yarn (commonly known as cloud yarn) that is irregular in thickness and shape.
