This piece is crafted with jacquard textile woven in Nishiwaki, Hyogo — a region known as the heart of Banshu-ori. Utilizing intricate jacquard weaving techniques, the fabric features a bold typographic pattern designed by artist Miltz (@miltz_326).
The design is inspired by the words of Naosuke Ii, who inherited the spirit of Sen no Rikyu:
"From the moment one enters the path to the tearoom to the moment they leave, treat each encounter as a once-in-a-lifetime occasion, and show the utmost respect to the host."
