Artwork drawn by the drawing unit "DARUMA-shôten" @dalma.graphic.
The thick, oversized T-shirts are a perfect match for the abundant embroidery.
Comment from DARUMA-shôten
Dragons have been depicted as a symbol of life and wealth in ancient China and other Asian countries as the "guardian god of water" and in the West as the "guardian god of treasure". In Japan, dragons have developed in various ways based on Chinese beliefs, and can be seen in various places from emperors to sumo, kabuki, festivals, and so on. For this project, I designed it in the hope that it would be like the make-up mawashi of sumo wrestlers or the carpets found in the homes of the rich. It is a celebratory image that brings heavenly blessings.
Please enjoy the hidden character "hikeshi," which was popular in the Edo period.
