The character was inspired by the white fox called "Okitsune Sama" from the Fushimi Inari, the Shrine that represents Kyoto.
Since fire was common in the Edo period, the Inari Okami was worshipped as the god of fire prevention and the god of agriculture.
The foxes, which is the messenger of Inari Okami, were also worshipped because they were seen as something that protects humans.
This simple knot watch cap has a patch of “Komachi,” a white fox of Kyoto store mascot.
The soft and fluffy material doesn’t wrap your head too tight.
