I drew inspiration from the imagination of the people of the Edo period.\u003cbr\u003eSince childhood, it has been a given for me to visit Kashima Shrine for the first shrine visit of the New Year, so the legend of the “Kaname-ishi” (Pillar Stone), which pacifies the catfish, was a familiar part of my life.\u003cbr\u003eFire and water, destruction and regeneration. Just as some things are lost, others are born.\u003cbr\u003eWe must not forget the natural cycle that repeats itself as a matter of course. And we must not forget the events that must never be forgotten.\u003cbr\u003eThese are the thoughts I have poured into this work.\u003cbr\u003e────────────\u003cbr\u003e-On Designing Within the “Hanten” Format-\u003cbr\u003eFirst of all, the very existence of the hanten format felt fresh to me. But precisely because of that, I sensed its history and tradition.
