陰陽狐: Yin-yang Fox
“陰陽狐: Yin-yang Fox”
Yin equals to: “the sky,” “the sun,” “the light,” and “hard.”
Yang equals to: “the ground,” “the moon,” “the darkness,” and “soft.”
Although yin and yang are opposite yet they wouldn’t exist without the existence of one another.
It is a concept where all things in the universe are based on those two energies.
“The yin-yang foxes” have appeared as incarnations of the yin-yang energy.
When the two appear in harmony, the world of the "Golden Mean,"
where all things are in balance, will unfold.

“陰陽 (Yin-yang)”
These kanji characters are read as “in-yo” or “on-myo” in Japanese,
“yin-yang” in English.
What is yin-yang in the first place?
This is a concept originating from ancient Chinese philosophy; yin and yang are opposite yet
they wouldn’t exist without the existence of one another.
Yin is “the sky,” “the sun,” and “the light.”
Yang is “the ground,” “the moon,” and “the darkness.”
Yin doesn’t equal good, which means yang doesn’t equal evil.
Yin and yang come as one with the existence of each other.
Just like the saying “when there’s a light, there’s the shadow,” they’re originally two sides of a coin.
The status of balanced two energies is called “the golden mean.”

“Hanten Hoodie”
“Hanten” + “Hoodie”
As the name suggests, the hanten hoodie is a mixture of the two styles.
Though it looks like a cape at a glance, we would like to propose that this is also one shape of hanten.
It is because our mission is to hand down hanten styles through the generations.
Japanese traditional style, Wafuku, such as kimono and hakama seem like
they’re disappearing from our daily lives.
It might be because they’re missing practicality as a daily attire in present days.
“Take in the style of “和 (Wa)” in our daily lives.”
We’re hoping that our hanten hoodie, as a daily attire in present days,
delivers our mission to all over the globe.

“The Fox”
神社 (Jinja or Shinto shrine in English) is a ritual facility of Shinto, the indigenous belief of Japan.
Among them, Inari shrines, which are said to be beneficial for good harvest, always have statues of the fox.
The reason why is because foxes are thought to be messengers of Inari gods.
From ancient times, Japan has been treating foxes as sacred animals.
From ancient times, it was believed that when someone was possessed by a fox, they equip supernatural power. By wearing the fox mask, the spirit of the fox may dwell in one’s spirit.
What we mean by being clothed in yin-yang fox is, that possessing sacred power while harmonizing yin and yang.
To feel something invisible and unexplainable, mysterious energy, and to be grateful for its existence.
